7pm-8pm - Vernon Winter Carnival Queen Silver Star Excellence Program Introduction and Selection of “Little Miss Carnival”

From 4:00pm-6:40pm 2009 Queen Silver Star Candidates and Current Reigning Royalty will be assisting Village Green Mall through:
- Distribution of decadent chocolate treats from Purdy’s and Save-On-Foods
- Tea Samples courtesy of Tea Desire
- Free Christmas Tree Ornaments to the first 480+ Charity Pass holders (available while quantities last)

Will be sharing information about the various activities offered at Silver Star Mountain. “Shop for Charity” ticket holders will be able to enter to win 1 of 3 prizes:

People Place Raffle by Donation:
Liz Fritsch who trained in Austria as a pastry chef has created and donated as a raffle prize a truly “sweet treat” in the form of a delightful gingerbread house.
Elsie Reid of 27th Street Florists has donated a beautiful floral arrangement
Vernon Winter Carnival Society
The Vernon Winter Carnival Society will be sharing information about upcoming 50th Anniversary- “Carnival of the Past . Customers can also pick-up information and registration forms for the “We know you can dance competition” which will again be sponsored by Vernon’s Village Green Mall.
